Summary of Duties: As the Director of Diversity and Employee Development, you will provide strategic leadership and direction in DEIB within our organization and be responsible for creating a work environment where employees are motivated, committed, and empowered to achieve their full potential. You will develop and implement initiatives, policies, and programs that promote an inclusive workplace environment that attracts, retains, and engages a diverse workforce, ultimately enhancing innovation, collaboration, and organizational success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and system to develop and execute strategies to promote DEIB within our organization.

 

• Develop training programs and workshops. This may include providing resources, facilitating discussions, and offering guidance on best practices for creating an inclusive workplace.

 

• Foster a culture of mentorship, coaching, and feedback to support employee success and career advancement.

 

• Partner with HR to integrate DEIB practices into talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management processes.

 

• Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, particularly for a remote workforce.

 

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and programs, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

 

• Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for supervisors and employees seeking support and guidance on DEIB and employee development matters.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and six (6) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least three (3) years of managerial experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. ?A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment.
