Available Title(s): 678M-YNCSNPS - Custodian 5 Business Title: Custodian Supervisor Employee Type: Classified Position Details: Summary of Duties: Independently responsible for planning, developing, and directing activity of custodial department; analyzing the needs for staffing, equipment, and supplies; developing departmental budget; and approving purchases of supplies and equipment within budgetary allocation. Manages custodial services for multiple buildings. Required Qualifications: • Two years' experience supervising or directing others in large-scale housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance or custodial work; OR equivalent education/experience. • Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with https://policies.wsu.edu/prf/index/manuals/safety-policies-procedures-manual/sppm-7-10/#four3 and departmental driving standards. Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum of 6 months experience leading or directing the work of others. • High school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year experience as a Custodian 3 or equivalent.
