Job DescriptionThe Construction Services Technician is responsible for promoting a high level of customer satisfaction through assistance in planning and installation of electric and gas utilities. Working in a team environment you will be responsible for assisting in the design and coordination with the Customer Project Coordinator for the selection of proper materials for new construction, maintenance and replacement of damaged Company facilities. This role works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on construction related issues. Interacts and is a member of a self-directed, collaborative, and interdependent team.

Requirements Construction Services Technician I 1. Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a natural gas or electric distribution related field. 2. Requires demonstrated ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects and to work effectively with all parties involved. 3. Must possess basic computer skills and ability to learn computer applications. 4. Specialized job-related training in gas and electric design, map reading and familiarity with applicable codes, tariffs and requirements preferred. 5. Other combinations of education/experience may be considered. Construction Services Technician II All of the requirements of a Construction Services Technician I plus: 1. Three years plus applied and demonstrated consistent performance/experience working with Avista contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders. 2. Proven track record of contributing as a team member and successfully building relationships both internal and external. 3. Display competent knowledge of the Construction Service Technician process and must able to complete complex work assignments.

Construction Services Technician I Starting Range: $23.37 - $29.91 per hourConstruction Services Technician II Starting Range: $26.61 - $34.19 per hour
