Apply online today! Summary of Duties The CILA Advisor is a full-time position in the Center for Intercultural Learning and Affirmation (CILA) and reports to Campus Director of CILA. This position cultivates a sense of belonging and inclusion through active programming, individualized care, mentoring, and support for members of the CILA community. A primary focus of this position will provide additional guidance, support, communication, and coordination for identity-based student groups and/organizations such as, but not limited to; Asian Pacific Islander Association, Black Scholars Association, Cougar Pride, Crimson Group, Latinx Student Association, Muslim Student Association and Native Student Association. The person in this role is student-centered, culturally responsive, collaborative, and intentional in their role as an educator. Required Qualifications Positions require a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops for students relating to topics of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and/or Justice. Ability to work 100% on-campus, in-person to provide a high level of service for the CILA community. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in related field. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
