Apply online today! Summary of Duties The CILA Advisor is a full-time position in the Center for Intercultural Learning and Affirmation (CILA) and reports to Campus Director of CILA. This position cultivates a sense of belonging and inclusion through active programming, individualized care, mentoring, and support for members of the CILA community. A primary focus of this position will provide additional guidance, support, communication, and coordination for identity-based student groups and/organizations such as, but not limited to; Asian Pacific Islander Association, Black Scholars Association, Cougar Pride, Crimson Group, Latinx Student Association, Muslim Student Association and Native Student Association. The person in this role is student-centered, culturally responsive, collaborative, and intentional in their role as an educator. Required Qualifications Positions require a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops for students relating to topics of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and/or Justice. Ability to work 100% on-campus, in-person to provide a high level of service for the CILA community. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in related field. Essential Duties: 55% Advising 20% Programming and Leadership 10% LGBTQ+ Campus Designee 10% Administration 5% Other duties as assigned. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
