Professional Job Family: Administrative Professional - Not OT Eligible Position Details: Summary of Duties: Coordinate and assess activities related to internship experiences for the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) students, including Student Success and Academic Programs (SSAP) internships and those offered by other CAHNRS units and stakeholder partners. Coordinate assessment and implementation of CAHNRS internship programs with unit internship and university-wide internship personnel. Coordinate the career development program for the CAHNRS SSAP Office. Direct and assist with creating, advertising, and delivering career networking and development opportunities for all CAHNRS programs. Co-Teach AFS 102 and 103 or equivalent internship and professional development course work. Collaborate with CAHNRS and university personnel to develop relationships with current and potential partners to build financial support for students and education-based activities. Participate in college-wide recruitment and retention events and efforts. Required Qualifications: Positions require a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. • Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a diverse team environment. • Willingness to work some evening and weekend hours. • Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver's license by time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in a related field. • Previous work experience at an institution of higher education. • Student services experience in admissions, advising, and/or recruitment. • Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and leadership, including the ability to work independently. • Experience working in business and/or industry.
