Associate In Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Available Title(s): 321-NNFACULTY - Associate in, 321-YNFACULTY - Associate in Business Title: Associate In Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Employee Type: Faculty (+) (Fixed Term) Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Associate In Speech Language Pathology (SLP) will be responsible for managing data collection associated with a 4-year NIH-funded project in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences. This role will have an initial 1-year term, with the expectation for extension based on performance, funding availability, project status and mutual agreement. Duties will include: • Startup and management of a new federally funded grant. • Support the recruitment of school-based speech-language pathologists for data collection during the study. • Manage and oversight of all aspects of data collection (i.e., speech sound treatment data variables). • Scheduling and management of child-level data collection (i.e., standardized test administration). • Contact and coordination with school testing sites. • Training and fidelity checks of data collectors. • Contribute to the annual report writing process. • Management of participant incentives in alignment with project and university policy. • Oversee student research assistants. • Participate in manuscript and conference preparation and presentations. Required Qualifications: • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. • Active Speech Language Pathologist License in WA State. • Robust experience with the administration of speech, language, and literacy tests. • Valid diver license and ability to drive for work purposes. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with project management. • Experience working in or supporting research projects. • Experience working with federal grant funded projects. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
