Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Develop and maintain an understanding of the standards, requirements and solutions for the assigned compliance area (e.g., EMC, Safety, Product Ecology). 2. Develop compliance tests, procedures and reports for the assigned compliance area and ensure test documentation is complete and filed in accordance with ISO 17025 (A2LA) and quality system requirements. 3. Develop and maintain a basic understanding of SEL products and markets. 4. Provide basic technical assistance to product groups. 5. Mentor Technicians in Product Compliance and R&D. Required Qualifications * B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience * Working knowledge of product compliance engineering practices and philosophies at an electronics development and manufacturing company * Strong working knowledge of common test equipment and testing practices * Self-motivated/self-starter * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment * Background check results satisfactory to SEL * Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of one or more of the following compliance (regulatory, voluntary, customer) areas including standards, requirements, and solutions: EMC (FCC, IC, IEC, CISPR, CE); safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC, CE); radio Leadership experience or training Location Pullman, WA - SEL's corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life. Salary Information $78,000 - $85,500 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
