Site Program Rep Requisition ID 2024-12640 Location US-WA-Silverdale Seat Location EB Bangor WA Trident Site Trade Program Management Shift 1st Security Clearance Required Secret Number of Openings 1 Overview This position is for the TRIDENT Site in Bangor, WA. D705 is responsible for supporting multiple Navy commands in the Northwest region and multiple NAVSEA program offices. The department executes a wide array of technical and engineering services for all classes of submarines in the Pacific Northwest. The Site Program Representative will provide direct support to the Site Manager for ensuring accomplishment of established site operations, security, and program goals, to include cost control, strategic planning & scheduling, and execution of day-to-day operations and tasking for the Bangor Site. The position will act as liaison with various Groton and offsite offices and vendors for overhead budgeting, executing security functions, and procurement activities, etc. The position will be responsible for overseeing the Site office and provide logistical support to remote parts of the department in other locales. This individual will function as the Site Facility Security Officer and will interface with Groton security and the local Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency Industrial Security Representative, as required. Working with local Navy security activities will be required to process personnel and vendors coming onboard to support EB work. This position will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as oversight and management of the departments audit and surveillance program and single department directives. Other tasking will be required to execute the organizational goals and presence of the Electric Boat Planning Yard in the region and abroad. Qualifications Required: An active Department of Defense Secret security clearance. Qualified as a Facility Security Officer, or able to complete within three months of start date. 10-15 years of relevant experience in submarine construction, submarine maintenance or operations or remote site operations. This is not an entry level position. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint Internal candidates must be from organizations outside of operations (Casciano/Gabriel). Preferred: General understanding of Electric Boat operations and departments. Prior 5 years of experience related to submarine base security operations. Demonstrated ability in multi-tasking and technical project management. Basic planning and project management skills. Skills Candidate must be comfortable communicating with all levels of management both internal and external to Electric Boat. Ideal candidate would be familiar with Electric Boat systems and software such as Oracle, Document Databank and Lotus Notes or have a demonstrated capability and willingness to learn these programs quickly. The candidate is comfortable with change and able to adapt to a changing environment. The candidate must possess strong analytical, causal analysis, communication, organizational, planning, and writing skills.
