Poulsbo Fire Department Groundskeeper in Poulsbo, Washington
*This position is 20-25 hours per week, schedule to be determined after hire. The tentative start date is early June to early September (about 12 weeks) •Some knowledge in both grounds care and maintenance and facility repair •Be familiar with various tools used for groundskeeping, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, pressure washers, gardening tools, etc. •Be familiar with various tools used for maintenance and facility repair, such as hand and power tools. •Ability to utilize personal protective equipment •Be able to communicate effectively and have good organizational skills. •Contribute positively to a working environment that is respectful and responsive to both the needs of employees and management. •Work independently with limited direction •Maintain accurate records and take responsibility for correcting errors. •Ability to act professionally and develop cooperative relationships with other department work units, supervisors, and the general public
