[Overview]{.underline}
The Human Resources position supports the success of the Company by ensuring the right personnel are filling positions and enrollments and notices are delivered to employees in a timely and lawful manner. Manages, coordinates the implementation of company employee services, policies and programs; reports to the Company President and Operations Manager; assists and advises on compliance, policy/practices, discipline, performance appraisals, recruiting and hiring individuals who are congruent with the company culture and goals. This is a detail-oriented position, which accurately tracks deadlines, facilitates required notices and enrollments for Company benefits and licensure expiration.
[Responsibilities]{.underline}
To plan, develop and implement strategy for human resource management including recruitment, policy/practices, discipline, counselling, pay, conditions, and succession planning. Utilizes word processing, spreadsheet and/or other computer applications. Demonstrates a knowledge of employment law, legal codes, general policies, and employment regulations. Performs related responsibilities as required.
- Provide current and new employees with information regarding policies, job duties, wages, working conditions and employee benefits
- Address difficult staffing issues including dealing with employee disputes, terminations, and administering disciplinary procedures, i.e. counseling, suspension
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and harassment liabilities
- Conducts hiring interviews, exit interviews and evaluates trends
- Performing day to day administration tasks maintaining information files and processing paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
[Requirements & Qualifications]{.underline}
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED, specialized training and education or equivalent experience
- Preferred: College/University level coursework in related courses
- 5 years of professional experience that includes human resource management, personnel administration, employee/organizational development
- Thorough knowledge of human resources management practices, trends, and issues
- Needs to understand the needs of the business and management principles
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
