WHO WE ARE: Ridgeline Homecare Cooperative (RHC) is Clallam County's first worker-owned homecare cooperative. RHC's in-home caregivers provide services to our community seniors and people with disabilities, keeping them safe and comfortable in their homes. We believe that Caregivers do their best when they feel respected and valued for their work. As a cooperative, our Caregivers are the owners of the business and have a say in how the business operates. Ridgeline Homecare Co-Op was built by Caregivers for Caregivers Principle Duties and Responsibilities of In-Home Assistant: 1. Performs household services essential to the client's safety and care including - laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation and shopping. 2. CAN NOT: Assist clients with personal care which may include bathing, shampooing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation and positioning. Personal care cannot be done without an HCA active license. WHO YOU ARE: -Compassionate and caring -Displays honesty and professionalism with high ethical standards -Possesses maturity, flexibility, good judgment and creative problem-solving skills -Has a proven history of being organized and managing time effectively -Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member -Ability to communicate effectively and establish positive and productive working relationships -Interested in the Cooperative Business Model -Interested in growing as a business owner as well as profit sharing QUALIFICATIONS: -At least eighteen (18) years of age -Able to pass a Washington State Patrol criminal background check, BCCU background check and fingerprint check -HCA/CNA Certification -or- successful completion of initial and continuing state training requirements *For In-House Assistants, no certification/state training required
