Who May Apply: US Citizens This is a civilian position with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Lower Granite Dam is recruiting for an Office Support Assistant to join our team. This position is key to the success of Lower Granite. Some of the primary responsibilities will be ensuring timekeeping is completed according to regulation, process travel requests, running reports and assist with a wide variety of administrative tasks relating to the operation and maintenance of a hydroelectric project. Experience with Microsoft office suite preferred.

Duties
- Use personal computer, word processing software, and printing hardware to finalize correspondence, technical reports, and other related documentation from rough, handwritten drafts or rough drafts retrieved from the local area network (LAN).
- Operate microcomputer to electronically store, retrieve, and print a variety of standardized documents, developing appropriate formats, letters, form letters, standard paragraphs, and mailing lists.
- Use advanced computer applications including Microsoft Access and Excel to develop databases and spreadsheets to compile project reports for use by management both locally and at higher headquarters.
- Utilize PowerPoint and other graphics programs to develop supporting materials for presentations.
- Post timekeeping records insuring hours worked and absences are recorded in accordance with existing regulations and that charges to various cost accounts are appropriate and accurate.
- Perform receptionist duties for public visitation and internal customers including greeting visitors and answering telephones.
- Assist with a wide variety of personnel management issues and perform a variety of administrative tasks relating to the operation and maintenance of a multi-purpose hydroelectric project.
