This focus has resulted in our ability to offer our consumers extraordinary and distinctive wines from some of the best regions in the world.We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a ) Maintenance Technician - Master Craftsman to support our Columbia Crest Winery located in scenic Paterson, Washington.What will you do:Must understand and apply safe work practices related to electrical and mechanical work. Some examples would include: LOTO, elevated work, confined space, ARC flash, hot work, electrical regulations, and safety procedures set by the SMWE Environmental Health and Safety Department.Must have a high level of professionalism and craftsmanship.Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows regulatory compliance, industry standards and GMP'sMust be willing to work all shifts, hours and locations in Eastern Washington.Trains lesser skilled technicians and guides maintenance team on electrical best practices.Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.Mechanical experience with pumps, gear boxes, conveyors, and production equipment related to wine production and bottlingWelding, fabrication knowledge and experience to include, MIG, TIG, STICK and Gas welding process for stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum, that would include cutting, welding, grinding, fittingAbility to perform pipefitting, soldering, and brazingFamiliarity with AC and DC electrical system to include low voltage DC control circuits to 3 phase 480-volt systemsWorking knowledge and experience with VFDs, electrical motors, process controls (PLCs), lighting, Alarm systems, fire systems, intercoms, and network wiring.Mechanical ability to install and align motors, gear boxes, pumps and other mechanical systemsAbility to perform in-depth rebuilds of production equipmentAbility to use meters such as VOM, Amp and other test equipment needed for preventive maintenance of equipmentExperience/ability to plan layouts and installation of mechanical equipment and safety systems.Able to work with outside contractors to fulfill the facilities mechanical needsMust document all work in a work order management system (CMMS) with abilities to write work requests, parts request, follow work order directions, complete work orders, and communicate effectively with a maintenance planner and supervisor electronically. Preferred familiarity with JD Edwards Enterprise One.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsAbility to write maintenance work plans that will allow work to be performed safelyHave a proven track record of continuous improvement methodologies, root cause of equipment failure and meantime between failureInitiate and participate in project related discussions intended to increase and enhance overall equipment and production efficiencies across the site.Attends company provided and vendor training in-house and off-site.Performs other duties as assigned by supervision or required by the position. Other duties may require performing tasks of lesser skilled technicians.Actively promotes preventative maintenance strategies to prevent unplanned breakdowns or repairsRepair, maintain and troubleshoot industrial food processing machinery including but not limited to pumps, conveyor systems, Bottle Fillers, stretch wrappers, case erectors, case packers, capsule applicators and labelers.Ability to perform calculations needed for operation related to volumes, square feet, flow rates, and thermal loads.Program/troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC 500, Control Logixs, Devicenet, EthernetIP,Advanced knowledge of Control Logixs, RS networks, and
