JOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION

STATUS: PART TIME / TEMPORARY

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

This is a temporary position. This role will be open from March 10th, 2025 through July 10th, 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School graduate or equivalent. 2. Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience. 3. Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. 4. Consistently demonstrates strong communication, accountability and follow through skills.5. The ability to differentiate quality of donated items.6. Adaptability to working in various production units – with clothing bank and food pantry.7. Previous experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations.8. Ability to drive and maneuver forklift.9. Have & maintain valid State driver’s license with clean record and be able to pass company driving test(s).10. Be able to listen, follow and adhere to specific instruction and communication from Warehouse Supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. 2. Ability to grasp, push, & pull objects such as carts, racks, fixtures, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.3. Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks. 4. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 1. Sort products efficiently and properly according to the standard of TSA policy. 2. Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects, damages, expiration dates, spoilage. 3. Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing. 4. Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations. 5. Ensure the safe, proper use and maintenance of warehouse supplies and production equipment.6. Keep immediate working area clean, neat and organized.7. Be able to unload/load trucks with heavy pallets – locating to proper place.8. Be consistent in stocking food, organizing incoming food and moving pallets around to ensure efficiency.9. Maintain the production of taping and preparing boxes for food pantry.10. Be able to drive company box truck to vendor locations to pick up food.

Retirement Plans: Employer-funded Money Purchase Pension Plan (Defined Contribution Plan) 50% vested at five years eligible service time. Plus, an employee-funded voluntary 403(b) option.

Parental Leave: The benefit is 40 hours of Paid Leave for qualifying events.

Sick Leave: 12 days of Sick Leave annually accruing from day one, eligible for use after three months’ service time.

Paid Vacation:

  • Two weeks annually, accruing from day one, for non-exempt positions.

  • Four weeks annually, accruing from day one, for exempt positions.

  • Accrued vacation is eligible for use after six months’ service time.

Paid Holidays: 13 designated holidays + 1 floating holiday per year
