Senior Mechanic The Senior Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance of all equipment using CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System), install new equipment as needed and keep records of repairs or modifications. Troubleshoot equipment failure and find solutions in accordance with industry and safety standards. Our Maintenance department in Pasco, WA is now looking for a Senior Mechanic. Key Tasks Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Effectively use CMMS to keep all equipment maintained in a timely manner. Troubleshoot equipment and tool failure and make repairs to avoid production downtime. Communicates downtime risks to management. Highly skilled in welding. Monitor inventory of parts and consumables. Maintain all aspects of the facility without supervision. Operate lifts and material handling equipment and uses judgment on escalation path. Your Background High School diploma or GED. 5 Years' experience or 2 years with technical certification. Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience.
