Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist is an intermediate-level role and comes with a moderate range of responsibilities, such as performing cycle counts, root-cause analyzing inventory inaccuracies, and providing frequent status updates to stakeholders

Our Purchasing department in Pasco, WA is now looking for a Inventory Control Specialist.

Key Tasks

  • Work safely and independently

  • Perform cycle counts

  • Root-cause analyze inventory inaccuracies

  • Coordinate with team resources to correct and prevent inventory inaccuracies

  • Provide frequent status updates on inventory accuracy KPIs and action items

  • Plan and execute projects related to inventory control and inventory accuracy (e.g. full physical inventory)

  • Support “Best-in-Class” ERP practices and data cleanliness

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Inventory, Receiving, and Shipping teams

  • Frequent escalation of inventory control issues to the Supply Chain and Inventory teams

  • Maintaining ERP and WMS systems

  • Understand and maintain BOM structures

  • Develop new processes to reduce inventory inaccuracies and inefficiencies

  • Write work instructions as needed

  • Monitor rework activities and ensure related inventory transactions are performed correctly

  • Lead or participate in special projects as required

  • Work overtime shifts as needed

    Your Background

  • High School diploma / GED required

  • 2-4 years inventory control or material handling experience preferred

  • Good planning skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong basic mathematics skills

  • Basic knowledge of MRP/ERP/WMS (SYSPRO experience a plus)

  • Able to operate under stressful high paced environment

  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance

  • Forklift certification a plus

Additional Information

  • Salary: Hourly rate of $19.00-21.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm with OT possibilities.

  • Vacation or PTO: During initial year of employment: Up to 80 hours of vacation, which will be prorated based upon start date. After initial year of employment, earn 136 vacation hours.

  • Sick Time: Per Washington State law, one hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked, with the ability to roll over up to 144 hours into the next year.

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefit options beginning first day of employment.

  • Long Term Disability and Company Provided Life Insurance Policy for all employees

  • 401K eligibility on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Permobil offers Safe Harbor matching, with immediate vesting.

  • Holidays: 10 paid company holidays per year.
