Consultant, please conduct seated interview. Period of intended Employment: 4/7/2025-5/30/2025. Location: Marysville, Washington. Applicant \"MUST HAVE\" 12 months of experience. Job Duties: Worker will drive semi tractor-trailer truck to/from specified destinations; maneuver trucks into and out of loading and unloading positions. Worker must possess the ability to read a map, use GPS and successfully navigate to a specific location: complete electronic log-book; regularly climb up and down, on, into and out of tractor and trailers; complete pre-trip and post trip inspection and paperwork on trucks and trailers. Clean soiled lights, windows and mirrors.A.2 Number of Workers Needed: 14 The number of workers needed represents the estimated shortage of domestic workers, and therefore the number of foreign workers the Employer anticipates will be needed. The Employer will hire all able, willing, and qualified domestic workers through the 50% point of the contract period and therefore the number of foreign workers hired could be substantially fewer than listed. A.6 Anticipated Days and Hours of work per Week The hours listed in block A.6 represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of these crops, weather, and the requirement to send the crop to market when fresh, it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed in section A.6, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. All hours worked will be engaged as a Truck Driver and/or Equipment Operator, with work activities divided among the specific tasks described in block A.8.A. Given that the demands of agricultural production are unpredictable and wholly dependent on external factors such as weather, sunlight temperature, and market demands, it is impossible to predict with any degree of accuracy the percentage of time dedicated to each individual task. The allocation of tasks each workday may vary. Additional Job Duties: Add oil and engine fuel, as needed. Must be able to operate a hydraulic lift gate, must be able to push and pull a 50 lb. rolling delivery rack. May also drive other types of company vehicles. Workers may assist in handling product weighing up to 60 pounds and lifting to a height of 5 feet. Products must be handled carefully to prevent damage. Workers must be able/willing to drive in snow and possible hazardous conditions. Workers must be able to perform all duties with accuracy and efficiency. Bonuses may be offered to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order, at the company\'s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Overtime Pay: Workers will receive 1.5x their normal rate of pay for every hour worked after 40 hours in any given workweek in accordance with RCW 49.46.130.B.2) Worker must possess 12 moths of prior verifiable experience driving/ servicing the combination of a tractor unit and semi-trailer. Applicants must be able to furnish verifiable job reference(s) or comparable third-party documentation from recent employer(s) establishing acceptable prior experience. B.4b) Workers must maintain a valid driver\'s license, Class A CDL or equivalent and a clean driving record throughout employment and comply with applicable requirements of the United States Department of Transportation regulations. Must have insurable driver\'s license required in order to drive company vehicles including semi-trucks. Must pass a post-employment road test to gauge driving ability. Employer uniformly conducts a post-employment DOT physical, background check and motor vehicle records check. Saturday work required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Must have proficiency in English to communicate, read and comprehend traffic signage, and interact with roadway officials. Worker should be able to use basic math (example: add and subtract) or have the ability to learn basic math to count product for inventor.B4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs continuously. B4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. B4h) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing. B4i) May require workers to sit and/or walk for extended periods of time. B4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over. B4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the Truck Driver duties. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Field work begins at assigned time shortly after daylight. Work may be performed during light rain and in high humidity and in freezing or high heat temperatures. The worker may be required to work in the orchard when trees are wet with dew/rain and should have suitable clothing for variable weather conditions. Worker may be required to lift or load objects continually up to the weight limit identified in section B.4. The Worker may never ride on agricultural equipment not designed for work related riding purposes or any other non-passenger intended equipment unless instructed and authorized by the employer or supervisor to do so. All work related injuries must be immediately reported to the crew leader, foreman, or supervisor.
