This position supports the overall mission and vision of Community-Minded Enterprises (CME) and the Early Learning (EL) Services Initiative as a member of the Tri-Cities EL Team. Will provide support services to the supervisory staff in our Tri-Cities office primarily in the delivery and implementation of the Early Achievers (EA) program and other EL programs.Early Achievers (EA) is a program that connects families to child care and early learning programs thru coaching, TA and by providing resources, assistance and support to both in home and center based child care providers participating in the program.Responsibilities will focus on general program administrative assistance and support, engagement in work around development and support of Family Friends and Neighbors (FFN), assist with the tracking and completion of program deliverables, translation and interpretation of documents and trainings, and management of ordering supplies, materials and equipment for office.Primary Responsibilities Include: Oversee outreach events, ensuring all deliverables are met and community partnerships are developed and maintainedAssist in the tracking, data collection, reporting and completion of deliverables for programs and projectsProvide translation and interpretation (English/Spanish) servicesGeneral administrative support including training preparation and facilitation of travel arrangements and expensesAssist finance department with the management of timecards, mileage forms, expenses and reimbursementsFacilitation and management of data systemsQualifications:A./A.AS in Business, Administrative Assistant or similar degree preferred with three or more years’ experience in a business office as an administrative assistant or five + years on the job experience if no degree is present.Previous experience working in a Early Learning environment preferred.Bilingual and Biliterate in Spanish and English requiredAbility to work independently, self-motivate, prioritize work and manage time effectivelyAbility to maintain timely documentation/data entry into electronic data systemStrong competency working both in a team setting and independentlyKnowledge of Early Childhood Education programs and resourcesProven ability to act in a professional mannerExcellent listening skills with the ability to give and receive critical feedbackAbility to provide leadership, innovation, motivation and constructive feedback to Early Learning professionals.Ability to work occasional night and weekend hours.Demonstrated commitment to cultural relevancy, diversity and inclusion.Computer literate and proficient using all Microsoft Office programs.Must have current, valid driver’s license, insurance and access to reliable transportationAble to pass initial and ongoing required background checks<
