THE ROLE:
As a Development Review Technician you will provide professional and technical assistance for development review projects for both private and public development projects within the City of Pasco.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, construction management or related field. Additionally, they will have the ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external customers who they must collaborate with daily. A background check is required upon acceptance of a conditional offer.

· Development Review Technician I: $27.40 - $32.89/hour, plus benefits
· Development Review Technician II: $31.47 - $37.78/hour, plus benefits
· Development Review Technician III: $37.61 - $45.15/hour, plus benefits
The level of position offered to a candidate will be determined based on qualifications in each of the job classifications.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.):
· Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management or closely related field.
· Valid Washington State driver license.
· Must have at least 2 years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, or related field experience.

· Medical at $153.70/month, dental at $11.59/month, and vision coverage at $6.54/month
· Basic life insurance paid for by the City and employee sponsored supplemental life insurance
· 12 days of vacation during the 1st year of employment and 12 days of sick leave which are available for use upon accrual
· 10 holidays, plus each employee receives 1 floating holiday each year
· Washington State Department of Retirement Systems (DRS), which offers a guaranteed monthly benefit once vesting criteria has been met
· In addition to DRS, employees may also contribute to a 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, that offers a pre-tax contribution of 4% from the City

SAFETY/WORK CONDITIONS:
Duties are performed in an office environment while stationed at a desk using a computer. May be required to travel to meetings.
