BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary for this position is $60,000.00 annually. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure BrandSafway’s Life Saving Rules and Safety policies and practices are a part of every job and customer experience

  • Provide general departmental support for reporting, copying, filing, creating mailing labels, preparing mailings, accept and deliver incoming mail and packages

  • Answer all incoming phone calls and assist guests

  • Prepare release with preliminary information and ready for invoice

  • Record labor compliance for job folders and learn how to perform non-certified payrolls

  • Learn Non –Performance certified payroll.

  • Back up and assist in excessive accounts payable

  • Handle all mailings for the office

  • Perform data entry of timecards for union branches as well as other personnel and yards

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Run and audit earnings and deductions reports utilizing Ceridian payroll system

  • Complete certified payroll reporting and OCIP weekly tracking for monthly reports

  • Process pay card and TVL entries for all union branches

  • Process and submit weekly union reports to ensure timely payment of union benefits

  • Create fringe benefit statements along with hourly breakdowns for certain employees

  • Ensure accuracy of payroll transfer codes and wages in Kronos system

  • Complete new hire and rehire processing in Ceridian, along with E-verify processing and auditing of I-9 forms

  • Set up employees for pay card funding and log into appropriate database

  • Process layoff checks and terminations

  • Administer the employee’s portion of the union 401KTrack vacation (PTO) time for all yard and nonunion employees

  • File employee information as needed

  • Answer the phones

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Associates degree preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.

  • Requires excellent oral and written, skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and personnel at other branch offices.

  • Requires ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions based on this data, and to effectively communicate the related required actions to customers and teammates.

  • Requires proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic business math.

  • Requires good organizational skills

  • Requires an unwavering desire to provide excellent customer service.

  • Prefer 2 to 5 years of office experience.
