BOGERT VENTURES INC Accounting - General in PASCO, Washington
Manufacturing business needs help with a variety of office administration tasks. You will wear multiple hats for multiple companies. These hats include payroll processing, accounts payable, internet orders, and answering phone calls. Occasionally, you will help with purchasing, policies and procedures, document control, or even marketing. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of the chart of accounts and general ledger will be necessary.
We do not have much walk-in traffic, so your phone and email communication skills will be essential. As you learn about the products, you may answer questions and assist customers in finding the best solution. Listening to understand their needs is also an important trait.
Bogert Aviation and Uncle Norm's Marine & Safe Jack identify problems, design solutions, and then manage the manufacturing process from start to finish in Pasco, Washington. If you are interested in small aircraft, jets, boats, off-road vehicles, or lifting heavy equipment, you will find working with the customers fascinating.
We offer medical, dental, life insurance, and Aflac. The wage range is $19-$23 but negotiable. Paid Time Off is accumulated per hour worked. Transportation is vital, as we are not on a bus route. The office is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but is closed on weekends and major holidays.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- It is not a supervisory position.
- May take the lead and work independently on approved projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, verbal and written.
- Proficient with QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop or similar.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with time clock payroll software.
Desired skills but not required for this position.
- Adobe Suite is helpful but not required.
- Social Media Apps are helpful but not required.
Education and Experience:
- Associate in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.
- At least two to four years of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
