Summary

This role is responsible for Plant instrumentation, controls systems, and electrical/electronic equipment, as well as other associated equipment at the Conda Pump Station. The individual in this role must be capable of troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, programming, documenting, upgrading, and the laying out and installing of equipment and systems. This role will ensure that the Plant instrumentation and control systems operate at optimum levels, and that new programs and/or changes to existing programs are successfully implemented with minimal direction and supervision. In addition, he/she must perform electronic, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, which includes installations, calibrations, maintenance, documentation, and repairs.

The individual in this role will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the processing units of operations, as well as all areas supporting this facility. Additional responsibilities may include pipeline operations and management of several pumping systems. Weekend, shift work, holiday, overtime work and call out is an expectation of the position and will be required to meet operational goals.

• Ensures alertness and constant awareness of the safe operation of moving equipment and other potential safety hazards in a production plant.

• Ensures necessary level of communication is maintained with the appropriate personnel.

Typical Education

Associate's Degree (A.A. or equivalent)

Must have basic computer skills of word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Must have ability to conduct self in a professional manner and ensures personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job function while representing the Company. Must have the ability to use electrical and electronic test equipment for performing maintenance and troubleshooting. Must be able to read and understand documentation such as, technical manuals, blue prints, schematics, letter diagrams, P & ID drawings, equipment manuals, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and/or as a team member. Must be able to communicate verbally with team members. Must have the ability to lift 50lbs, climb stairs, ladders, catwalks, and maneuver in close quarters. Ability to identify and distinguish colors (i.e., wiring, instrumentation, color codes, etc.). Work exposures may include, but not limited to: extreme weather, dust, heights, noise, chemical and electrical hazards.
