the position

The global Vice President of internal talent acquisition plays a pivotal role in bringing together the global Randstad Sourceright, Enterprise Group and Risesmart brands by creating, enabling and driving consistent world class, cutting edge, innovative, inclusive recruitment methodologies, in house.

Focusing on providing strategic direction and operational leadership of the global internal TA teams, this role ensures the business receives added value and strategic level expertise aligned to leadership’s regional and global vision, now and in the future. The leader will drive strategies that include and promote diversity and inclusion, talent marketing and a creative and compelling employer and employee value proposition globally.

This role reports to the Global Chief People Officer for Randstad Global Businesses.

priorities for the role include:

Operational excellence

  • Provide strategic and bespoke leadership for regional ITA teams in NAM, EMEA and APAC

  • Be the key ITA contact for all senior LT stakeholders across NAM, EMEA and APAC

  • Develop operational best practice and excellence across ITA teams

  • Provide a quarterly TA review to LTs across all regions, focusing on the specifics of their geographical remit including brand, culture and cohesive working partnerships

  • Ensure all business information is cascaded in a timely way to drive ITA engagement and understanding of their value and role within RSR

  • Support the hiring of the wider ITA team to drive operational excellence in all competitive landscapes

  • Identify internal talent and support the creation of internal mobility opportunities globally

  • Demonstrate inspirational leadership by leading by example

  • Provide regular communication to teams to update them on market developments, business priorities and performance of the allocated accounts to create a positive working environment.

  • Identify and select effective team members to meet service delivery commitments.

Candidate attraction strategies

  • Work with the talent marketing team to create forward thinking and impactful strategies that improve brand awareness, enhance brand image, and ultimately progress our ambition to become an employer of choice

  • Develop and deliver a global talent attraction strategy including strategic use of the careers pages, social media channels and job boards

  • Oversee and deliver all employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaigns including global hiring events and meetups across all countries to drive candidate engagement and boost the employer brand

  • Build diverse candidate pools, and create initiatives to attract and retain diverse talent

  • Develop & analyse our recruitment metrics, and use your knowledge, market insights, numbers and analysis to continually refine & improve the talent acquisition process across the whole company

  • Ensure we have an up to date salary benchmarking process in all countries

Internal mobility

  • Become the central point of contact for all regional and global mobility, working closely with local and regional HR and LTs to create transparency of talent mapping

  • Own the internal mobility policies and create immigration and sponsorship advice to empower talent mobility regionally and globally

  • Fluidify communication channels between hiring managers, existing managers and HRBPs to support a seamless transition from one role to another, internally

  • Drive cultural evolution to encourage more mobility between regions and brands/programmes

  • Work with relocation experts to build and maintain enticing relocation packages and information packs to internal talent

  • Promote all regions through visual sharing of local lifestyles

Global connectivity

  • Create, drive and promote requisition, activity and D&I dashboards supporting a global view into local success

  • Simplify the process of global vacancy sharing internally and externally

  • Unify ATS methodology including global talent pools, tagging languages and candidate sharing

  • Ensure the technology deployed across all regions is integrated to provide a best in class candidate and hiring manager experience

  • Create a global strategy for how the different types of technology could be used and integrated into the process to create a seamless and modern candidate experience

Recruitment methodology

  • Manage and advance the ATS and recruitment technology tools in line with our global tech stack offering

  • Ensure that every candidate has a first class experience from start to finish

  • Ensure the global hiring process is delivered at the highest of standards at all times

  • Continuously review our process to drive improvements and change especially through the use of automation tools

  • Ensure we have a diverse and inclusive hiring process which is aligned to respect and enhance local cultural expectations

  • Work towards turning employees into brand ambassadors by creating talent marketing programs and activities to boost our digital footprint

  • Work with the L&D team to deliver a seamless onboarding process for all joiners

  • Automate the recruitment process where possible to allow for a more human-centric approach

  • Own all hiring processes - setting high standards for speed and quality
