Red River Sr. Product Manager, ServiceNow in Olympia, Washington

The Senior Product Manager is a leader on the Business Operations team leveraging both technical and people skills to execute on application roadmap(s) and develop teams and processes. The Senior Product Manager works in conjunction with divisional leaders to understand long term business needs and align application development accordingly. Leveraging superior business analyst skills, the Senior Product Manager gathers requirements, prioritizes initiatives, and communicates effectively across the organization. Balancing strategic efforts with the tactical needs to increase application efficiency and adoption, the Senior Product Manager plans SDLC sprints to drive both initiatives forward. With a focus on resource development, the Senior Product Manager is responsible for direct supervision of select staff as well as informal coaching for any coworker as needed.

Primary Position Tasks:

  • Act as the primary business point of contact for one or multiple applications

  • Build product roadmap leveraging market/product knowledge and business priorities

  • Scope proposed system modifications for level of effort and return on investment

  • Oversee the work of analysts and developers to ensure releases into product meet the business needs and advance the product roadmap

  • Direct management of select Business Operations staff with a focus on developing resources and processes

  • Be highly responsive and flexible in a multi-project, fast-paced environment

  • Other business duties as assigned

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Business, Computer Science, or related field

  • 7-10 years of experience working in Business Operations or Applications

  • Knowledge of standard software development lifecycle

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM, ServiceNow, SQL

  • Master’s degree in business or related field

  • Relevant professional certification for industry or specific application(s)

Essential Elements :

This position is an office position that requires sitting at a desk for multiple hours throughout the work day.

This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.

Special Requirements:

Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
