Citizens Social Media Community Partner, Social Selling in Olympia, Washington

As the Social Selling Community Partner, you will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of our robust social selling program. The Social Selling Community Partner will create, manage, and distribute compliance-approved content via our enterprise social media experience management technology. In this role, you will train and onboard new colleagues across various business lines into our growing social selling program which offers the ability to enhance their social media presence, build credibility and trust in their respective business segments, and promote the Citizens brand and solutions compliantly to clients and prospects on social media.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage new colleague onboarding into the social selling tool

  • Facilitate ongoing line of business social media training

  • Manage content workflow of assets and materials added to the tool

  • Maintain library of content within the tool to ensure it’s up to date

  • Provide strategic social media guidance and execution for various business lines

  • Assist in content creation including copywriting and creative asset creation

  • Work closely with Compliance, Risk and Legal to ensure all content is high quality, relevant and compliant

  • Manage tool functionality and identify issues working in partnership with vendor

  • Create reports and provide insights on content performance

  • Manage and execute ad-hoc social media requests for Citizens social media accounts as needed

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in social media management

  • 4-6 years of communications and/or marketing experience

  • Flexible, hands-on attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

  • Strong knowledge of social media best practices and LinkedIn functionality

  • Knowledge of various social media planning and content tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout

  • Strong motivation and initiative

  • Organized, detail-orientated, and thorough

  • Strong planning and prioritization skills

  • Able to multi-task and juggle competing priorities

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills as well as highly effective communication skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to coach senior leaders

  • Self-starter, with the ability to think on their feet and show excellent judgment, as well as demonstrate sound situational leadership and decision-making ability

  • Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or relevant work experience

    Hours and Work Schedule

    Hours per Week: 40

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
