Job summary

The AWS Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Snr Program Manager to join our global Recruitment Outsourcing, Shared Services and Augmentation (ROSSA) program team to design standardized recruitment workflows and the mechanisms used to sustain them across global programs. This new team focuses on optimizing organizational design and delivery processes by establishing a future state RPO operating model, implementing new tools and automation, and managing an RPO services roadmap as the organization evolves.

In this role, you will work closely with IC’s, Recruiting Managers and L&D to build scalable recruitment SOP's for the services that the program team offers.

You will also build training and development content for our processes and be responsible for ongoing review and update of all process and SOP's. You will be expected to innovate through experimentation to continuously foster delivery excellence across the team.

Key job responsibilities

• Operate as operational excellence SME in building new SOP's and reviewing / updating existing processes across all outsourced vendors (both internal and external).

• Proactively seek to learn, understand and import best practices, resources, and training programs being successfully implemented by other teams across geographic locations

• Effectively partner with L&D on the design, iteration and adoption of new and existing training programs for program ROSSA to drive recruitment optimization

• Engage and build strong working relationships across the IC Recruiter community (Sourcers, Client Leads, FLCs) to stay in tune with their needs and interests

• Serve as a consultative Process SME partner, overseeing communication and implementation of new services.

• Define, collect, analyze, and present data via written and verbal communication to support project goals and initiatives.

A day in the life

The ideal candidate for this role is someone that has a background in recruiting and experience building recruitment processes focused on efficiency and scalability. This person is a builder, designer, program manager and champion for Recruiters.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record of end-to-end program management, from concept and design through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement. You must be able to take an idea and develop it into a broader vision, gain buy in from stakeholders and seamlessly deliver upon it. You’ll need to have the balance to drive your initiative forward quickly while keeping stakeholders looped in, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating and sharing across the broader Amazon organization.

About the team

The AWS TA Recruitment Outsourcing, Shared Services and Augmentation team is an enablement partner with the AWS Talent Acquisition business, using the pillars of process and technology to help the team hire tens of thousands of AWS builders every year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Deep understanding of recruitment processes.

Facilitation experience at all levels of the organization with both large and small audiences

Proven experience in working with large scale technology systems

5+ years’ experience instructing executives, managers, associates, and continuous improvement champions on Lean methodologies and/or technology projects.

Self-starter who takes the initiative and works with minimal direction

Maniacal customer obsession and excellent expectation management abilities

Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate with cross functional teams

Courageous and willing to stand up for your ideas within appropriate guidelines

Proficient in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data to challenge conventional wisdom, make fact-based decisions, and drive root cause analysis, and evaluate outcomes
