Cardinal Health Senior Engineer, SAP S/4HANA Pricing, Contracts and Rebates in Olympia, Washington
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Pricing and Contracts Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of pricing and contract management solutions including rebates within the SAP S/4HANA platform. This role requires deep expertise in pricing configurations, contract lifecycle management, and advanced S/4HANA functionalities. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions that meet business objectives.

Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and design SAP S/4HANA solutions for pricing, contracts and rebates, including complex pricing models and contract workflows.
Configure and implement pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, and rebate management.
Develop and manage contract templates, agreement types, and workflows in S/4HANA.
Ensure seamless integration of pricing and contracts with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO) and third-party systems.
Leverage S/4HANA capabilities, including FIORI apps, Advanced Pricing, and embedded analytics, to optimize pricing and contract processes.
Identify and implement enhancements to improve process efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in pricing and contract management.
Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrade projects, focusing on pricing and contracts.
Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and project teams.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data related to pricing and contracts.
Develop reports and dashboards to monitor contract performance, pricing effectiveness, and compliance.
Support data migration and validation activities during S/4HANA implementations or upgrades.
Act as the escalation point for complex issues related to pricing and contracts.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
Monitor system performance and proactively address risks or inefficiencies.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users, IT teams, and stakeholders on pricing and contract processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing and contract strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
8+ years of experience in SAP SD/Pricing and Contracts roles, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA environments preferred.
Proven experience in leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA pricing and contract management configurations.
Strong knowledge of pricing procedures, condition techniques, and complex pricing scenarios.
Experience with integration points between pricing, contracts, and other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO).
Proficiency in advanced S/4HANA features such as FIORI apps, CDS views, and embedded analytics.
Familiarity with rebate management, Advanced Pricing, and data migration tools (LTMC, LSMW).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $173,700
