What are we looking for? A Senior Manufacturing Consultant, who will be responsible for consulting on manufacturing and planning processes as well as other functional areas within the supply chain umbrella.

The key purpose of this role is hands-on configuration of Dynamics 365/AX Production Control and Master Planning modules as well as for assisting clients in the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain / Dynamics AX solutions; additionally, involvement in improving operational metrics, business case development and performance measurement. For this role, we are seeking in-depth manufacturing and planning experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain / Dynamics AX and a passion for helping clients achieve their planning and production goals.

A Day in the Life

  • As part of a team, provide manufacturing and planning functional knowledge and manage client relationships within the context of an individual role from early solution demos to going live on projects

  • Understand client businesses and gather requirements for project needs and gap analysis

  • Successful implementation of practical business solutions using industry best practices

  • Facilitate the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain module focusing on areas such as Production Control, Master Planning, Product Information Management

  • Design, configuration, and testing of core Dynamics 365/AX Supply Chain modules

  • Convert requirements to functional specs and well-written functional design documents

Required Qualifications

  • Customer & team-centric with a history of producing results through collaboration in Dynamics 365/AX Supply Chain in the last 3+ years (Current subject matter expert)

  • 3+ years Dynamics 365/AX implementation experience

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), planning and organization skills

  • Strong customer relationship skills

  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current certification in Dynamics 365/AX Supply Chain (MB-300 + MB-320) or the ability to become certified within 12 months of starting in the role

  • 2+ years full lifecycle Dynamics 365/AX implementations

  • 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing business

  • Ability to travel up to 25-50%
