Position Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a part of the Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness Financial Planning and Analysis team supporting specialty pharmacy operations. The candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and supportive team reporting to a Sr Manager. This role allows the candidate to gain valuable financial planning and analysis experience within the Pharmacy and Healthcare space at an industry-leading company.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Support of specified business unit annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting of operating expense
Monthly close responsibilities including results reporting, expense analysis, variance analysis and correcting discrepancies through journal entry creation
Support existing reporting and the build of ad hoc reports and analysis that requires strong excel skills, including understanding of complex formulas
Work to improve efficiency and accuracy of data collection in current reporting as well as develop reporting reflecting critical insights into business trends as tools for operations leadership
Cost modeling and analysis for operating expenses
Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant finance experience
3+ years of experience with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
3+ years of experience with analytics and the building of financial expense budgets, forecasting and month end variance analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP, Analysis for Office
Ability to work with large data sets and data manipulation
Experience at a large, public company
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Quick learner with time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to be flexible, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlines
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience required

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $122,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
