DescriptionResponsible for assisting SBA Loan Officers and Account Officers with origination, documentation, closing, funding, and servicing functions related primarily to SBA loans but also other government supported and conventional loans. Interacts with bank staff at all levels in multiple units, customers, accountants, attorneys, escrow officers, and SBA employees. Requires proficiency with both CB and SBA policies, procedures. Commitment to exemplary customer service.Essential Job Functions: Performs a portion of the duties listed below, as directed by the manager:General DutiesPrepare SBA application packagesOrder appraisals, business valuations, environmental risk reviews, title reports and other external reports as neededComplete SBA submission formsAssist with underwritingProvide telephone support to Bank employees by assisting with loan related questions, researching and responding to inquiriesResearch and respond to incoming email requestsProcess, Verify Income tax data (4506-T)Through CAVIRS verify no prior losses to governmentObtain SBA guaranties either by scanning packages and interacting with SBA processing center or via E-Tran for delegated authority applicationsDraft SBA AuthorizationPrepare SBA mandated closing documentsOrder routine documentation through Loan OperationsClose and fund loans in accordance with CB and SBA requirementsPrepare escrow instructions as neededEnsure proper documentation of equity injection and disbursements.Verify correct booking of new loansAssists with servicing actions such as collection calls and coordinates with Loan Servicing Officer to process non-routine servicing actionsProvide back-up assistance for other loan support functionsPerform site visitsCommitment to on-going education as required by CB and SBAPerform other duties as assignedAll employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties. Internal Control responsibilities are established in various policies, procedures, and documents, including the Code of Conduct.Minimum Job Requirements: High School diploma or GEDSome banking experience required.Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple duties to meet deadlines.Detail orientedProven self-starter with willingness to accept additional responsibilities as opportunities arise.Ability to work collectively within a team environment.
