Location/Division Specific Information

Our Sales Specialists are responsible for the sales and growth of Process Water Analysis products, including an expansive portfolio of liquid and electrochemistry analyzers, sensors, and instrumentation within a defined territory, serving customers in industrial, municipal, and other exciting fields!

How will you make an impact?

Discover impactful work as a Sales Specialist to maintain effective customer relations, develop exciting growth opportunities, and assure market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.

What will you do?

  • Protect and grow core markets by influencing and supporting manufacturer representative partners through collaborative sales planning, joint customer visits, and product training.

  • Direct sales into end-users with a focus on developing key accounts, and OEM opportunities.

  • Access high growth adjacent markets by prospecting and cold-calling new customers in new markets.

  • Actively build and maintain a sales pipeline, and use the CRM tool to handle all opportunities, customer database, and activities.

  • Provide booking and revenue forecasts to ensure revenue attainment.

  • Research competitors and industry activities to partner with cross-functional teams on product marketing activities.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Chemistry, Technologies, Biology, or Life Sciences.

Experience

  • Proven abilities to sell analytical instruments, or water treatment technologies/products.

  • Experiences in setting up, managing, and supporting a channel partner network are preferred.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong prospecting, discovery, sales planning, and territory management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills to influence decisions across all levels of an organization.

  • Strong technical competence in product demonstration, seminars, and training on Process Water products.

  • Travel of 60%+ required within assigned territory.

  • Requires proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
