General Electric Sales Manager, M&C Bently Nevada - Korea in Olympia, Washington

Role Summary:

Customer facing staff responsible for winning business.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the BHGE M&C Bently Nevada sales team, sales manager will be responsible to meet/exceed sales volume and coordinating customer requirement with internal organization for vibration monitoring system solution.

  • Sales responsibility for securing orders for M&C portfolio such as Bently Nevada products through directing customer relationship in designated sales coverage in Korea.

  • Communicate and create effective area sales strategy and well-defined growth action plans to each account and product lines.

  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships through the sales of products/services that meet customer needs. Positioning GE M&C products as the customer's best resource for information about the condition and behavior of plant assets.

  • Developing new customers from non-traditional market and growth market share from existing marketplace.

  • Understanding and participating in entire commercial ITO process. Communicate closely with FAE, SAE and service team to get proper support and outcome.

  • Strengthen sales force effectiveness through analysis of existing sales tools and applications. (ie. SFDC, CRM, mobile)

  • Maintain the highest possible personal standards and ethics.

  • Work closely with other sales, engineering team to archive united business goal.

  • Develop and maintain strong teaming relationship with other members of the company to leverage product, process and engineering expertise.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years engineering experience in petrochemical, gas, power or heavy industry as a I&C or mechanical engineer.

  • Basic knowledge of plant maintenance method and control or monitoring devices in industrial markets of power, oil and gas.

  • Excellent influence, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Strong communication and strategic sales skill to execute comprehensive consulting sales method from discovering stage to closing.

  • Proactive work style with strong drive to achieve results to grow.

  • Possesses effective Time Management Skills.

  • Competitive drive and determination.

  • Customer focused & strong interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in Korean and English (Spoken & Written).

  • Strategic Thinker and Change Agent.

  • Degree in Engineering.

  • Computer skills as office tools.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Direct sales and service experience of industrial products or solutions, or experience of plant maintenance management as a mechanical engineer/specialist.

  • Prefer Sales or Service experience within BHGE M&C.

  • Green belt certified. (GE candidate)
