What You Will Do :
We are building out a team of varying levels (junior, mid-Journeyman and senior) for a new initiative supporting a modernization project for the CDC.
The work will be on site at CDC Headquarters in Atlanta, GA with the option for remote work.
Manage projects to adhere to agreed upon schedules and budgets.
Prioritize client deliverables to ensure on time, accurate delivery.
Prepare project cost estimates and analyses across alternative solutions to support planning and gauge return on investment.
Assist with cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting, aligning program execution to spending.
Provide timely and accurate responses to technical and program inquiries received.
Develop templates, procedures, and guidelines for managing project information and deliverables.
Prepare, review, update, and maintain project documentation and reports in a central repository for easy access/reference.
Identify risks and issues and mitigation strategies; document and communicate project and milestone impacts; coordinate risk management activities.
Assist the project manager in planning, decision briefings, and progress assessments across multiple projects.
What You Will Need :
Bachelor’s or higher degree and 3+ years of project management-related experience
Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Exceptionally strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to recognize, prioritize, track, and resolve multiple ongoing issues
Strong attention to detail and thorough documentation skills
Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects concurrently, work collaboratively with diverse teams, meet deadlines, and deliver quality
Ability to effectively and confidently communicate – in writing and presentations – complex topics and procedures with team members and all levels of client stakeholders
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience managing Federal IT projects
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar certification
The annual salary range for this position is $62,000.00-$93,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
