Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 2-ProdDev in Olympia, Washington

Job Description

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product or processes involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the projects from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the projects/products/processes on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. This role also involves significant leadership skills, such as influencing without authority, project management, problem management, and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in program / product management

  • Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements

  • Experience with application of AI to enterprise scenarios or an analytics background

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without authority.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field

  • Exceptional ability to negotiate and collaborate across groups to achieve customer success

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH, and their implications for IT systems.

  • Customer focus with experience working with enterprise customers and developers

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

  • Drive end-to-end OHAI Cerner Problem Management process improvement, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migrations.

  • Implement industry-standard project management methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

  • Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.

  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, both internally and externally, and escalate issues as necessary.

  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. One year prior working experience with Oracle products (or at least two years related experience without Oracle products) and technical degree i.e., BS Computer Science/Management Information Systems/Science/ Engineering/Math/Physics/Chemistry with a 3.0 GPA OR functional degree + technical higher degree or in lieu of degree may substitute 4 years professional experience & professional certification (i.e., CNE, MCSE, CPA, Oracle, etc.).
