Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 4 to fill the Priority and Scoping Engineer vacancy in Olympia, WA. This position will serve as a headquarters specialist for the agency in technical analysis and review of scoping information for transportation projects related to the Highway Transportation System. The successful candidate must possess an understanding of project development, state project prioritization planning, and programming statutes, and ensure that projects are scoped according to policy. This position will play a key role in ensuring projects are positioned to move into the design phase on scope, on budget, and on time. The final review of the Project Summary is a key process to ensure asset management principles are being implemented.
