Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IC4 Software Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an IC4 Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions for complex challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products and services.

Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in healthcare settings. Leading contributions individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10 years of software engineering or related experience.


As a senior member of the software development team, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures and for architecting and implementing solutions for our user's workflows. You will be responsible for:

  1. Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.

  3. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and fostering skill growth.

  4. Analyze and optimize code for performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.

  5. Research emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and enhance development processes.

  6. Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and maintaining code quality standards.

  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and API documentation.

  8. Troubleshoot and debug intricate software issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.

  9. Contribute to the architectural decisions of projects, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.

  10. Collaborate with product managers to define and prioritize features, delivering high-quality software on time.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
