Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

As a member of our global team, you will:

  • Design architectures and create new services that operate reliably at extremely large scale

  • Evaluate and improve all security aspects of our deployed services and infrastructure

  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

  • Anticipate the future and deliver those concepts to reality

What you'll bring:

  • Android: Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, AndroidX, and Jetpack. Debugging skills in C/C++ and Java using debugging tools like GNU tools or Android Studio

  • iOS: Proficiency in Swift, Objective C.

  • Experience with HTTP/S, Networking, APIs, and JSON data structure.

  • Experience with automated testing using unit and instrumentation test

  • Analyze and optimize code for efficiency, reliability, and performance

  • Solid foundation and understanding of dynamic multi-threaded mobile apps

  • Expert knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, OOP principles, software design patterns, and other engineering concepts.

  • 4+ years’ experience in Software Development

  • Eligibility to work in United States without sponsorship is essential

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud services

  • Familiarity with mobile application technologies and design

  • Comfort with microservice based architectures and applications operating at scale in a Kubernetes environment

  • Experience with Micronaut platform (Java) or GIN based applications (Go)
