Logicalis, Inc. Principal Consultant: Professional Services - Network/Security/Wireless in Olympia, Washington
Summary Responsible SME for leading, managing and execution of complex Network, Security and Wireless deployments. Provide strategic guidance to clients and drive technical excellence of these deployments. Focuses on execution of Logicalis consulting team's defined methodology of assessment, planning and design, execution and validation. Coordinates with technical resources to collect specific information that applies to each technology or migration approach, and coordinates/executes planning of technical activities and provides guidance to the team on best practices/delivery methodology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Acts as SME that leads the design, implementation and optimization of network security and wireless solutions for clients. * Develops comprehensive deployment plans, strategies and methodologies, considering scalability, security requirements, and client specific needs. * Provides guidance and collaborates closely with cross functional teams including Solution Architects, PM's and engineers; works closely with Account Executives and internal services staff in support of client solution proposals and overall solutions deployments/migrations. * Owns and develops total solutions portfolio; streamlines repeatable scalable solutions matching consulting processes with network solutions. * Provides mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. * Stays current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in network security and wireless solutions. * Drives process improvements that increase customer satisfaction; manages customer expectations and increases profitability. * Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values. * Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors. * Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations. Travel Expectations * If travel is needed, advanced notice of travel will be given for team development meetings, client meetings and overall practice requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Education/Experience//Technical Requirements/Certifications Equivalent combination accepted. Education * Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience. Experience / Technical Requirements * Extensive experience (minimum 20 years) in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure, security solutions, and wireless deployments in the following (but not limited to): * Cisco Security solutions (ASA, FirePOWER, XDR, MDR). * Palo Alto Security (Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma). * Fortinet Security solutions (FortiGate, FortiClient). * Cisco network infrastructure (ISR/ASR, Catalyst, Nexus, SD-WAN, ACI, SDA, Meraki, DNAC). * Advanced knowledge in routing protocols. BGP/EIGRP/IS-IS/LISP/OSPF * Aruba network infrastructure. * Security Policy Management (ISE, ClearPass). * Working knowledge of Nexus Dashboard Orchestrator * Integration of multi-factor authentication with regards to network/security To view the full job description,
