Providence St. Joseph Health Point of Care Coordinator in Olympia, Washington

Description This position will perform a broad range of POC duties assigned by supervisor/manager with expanded responsibilities in interaction with many professionals outside the laboratory within the acute and PMG divisions. Troubleshoot instrumentation and process issues, including working with IT systems for POCT. This position will cover as Lead when supervisor/Manager is unavailable. Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science with 2 years experience in related field Coursework/Training and Medical Laboratory Technician with 6 years experience in related field Coursework/Training and Point of Care Specialist Certificate or training program within 6 months of hire Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysis Or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government 2 years of experience as a MT/CLS or Medical Laboratory Technician with 6 years experience in related field Preferred qualifications: Coursework/Training and 2 years of college in the field of science Coursework/Training and Point of Care Specialist Certificate or Program Why Join Providence?
