Express Employment Marine Terminal Operations Assistant in Olympia, Washington
Express is now hiring for a Temporary Marine Terminal Operations Assistant at a local Port authority company based out of Olympia, WA. This is a temporary opportunity. The length of the assignment is TBD at this time. The schedule will be Monday-Friday from 8 am -- 5 pm*. *The compensation range for this position will be $18.50-$22.00/hr.

Job Duties:
- Interface with truck drivers, dispatchers, and railroad representatives to schedule deliveries and pick-ups as needed
- Assist the Senior Manager and Operations Manager with filing systems, meetings, expense reports, and travel scheduling
- Daily input of marine terminal operations data
- Verify and input longshore timecards in the payroll system
Maintain excellent working relations with tenants and other vendors
Job Requirements:
- Must have 6 months of recent office experience
- Pass criminal background check and drug screen
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 or provide medical or religious exemption
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient at Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
