As a Low Code Application Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to design, develop, and deploy robust applications using low-code platforms, with a primary focus on Mendix and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role will allow you to showcase your expertise in low-code application development and containerization, while working in a world-class engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain low-code applications using Mendix.

  • Work closely with key business partners to gain insights into their needs and transform them into practical applications.

  • Create and manage data models, microflows, and user interfaces in Mendix.

  • Deploy and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of applications in a containerized environment.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment and updates.

  • Integrate Mendix applications with other enterprise systems and APIs.

  • Automate routine tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Resolve integration issues in a timely manner.

  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

  • Employ proven methods to achieve optimal code quality, security, and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with QA teams to facilitate comprehensive testing and validation.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications.

  • Offer training and support to individuals using our products/services and others involved in the process.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in low-code development and AKS.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in low-code application development with Mendix

  • Strong knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred:

  • Experience with Tulip

  • Mendix Developer Certifications

  • Certification in Azure Kubernetes Services

Other:

  • Travel: Limited international and domestic travel may be required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $121,900.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
