Description Our purpose: “Helping every Washington resident live, work, drive, and thrive.” Our values: Respect, Trust, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion The Department of Licensing (DOL) is seeking a System Administration Journey to join our dynamic, innovative, and inclusive Information Services team! * *As a System Administration Journey, you will provide server infrastructure support services for the agency by maintaining a stable infrastructure for the agency’s workstation and patching systems, Anti-Virus Systems, building access system and agency Fax solution. The incumbent will also ensure print server infrastructure is operational and the agency help ticketing system is available. This work is in support of agency-wide critical infrastructure and applications. If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply! Here are a few of the duties you’ll be responsible for*:* * Hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades * * *Troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems * * *Research multiple resources to provide efficient computing solutions to end-users * * *Create, review, update, and follow documentation to provide a consistent functional work environment. * *Please Note Prior to a new hire, a background check, including criminal record history, will be conducted. Required Qualifications _ Applicants who possess the following qualifications may be referred to the hiring manager: * Bachelor’s degree in technology field AND four years’ experience. OR Associates degree in technology field AND six years’ experience. OR 8 years’ experience in multiple Information Technology specialty areas. Requires knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration. * Three years’ experience as a Windows Server Administrator** ** * Two years’ experience working with Microsoft System Center Products Preferred Qualifications Applicants who also possess the following may receive additional consideration by the hiring manager: * Two years’ experience with VPN system access tools. * One Year Enterprise Fax Solution Administration * Three years’ experience installing 3rd party applications on a Windows Server.
