Express Employment Inplant Technician in Olympia, Washington
Express is now hiring for an Inplant Technician at a warehouse based out of Lacey, Wa. This is an evaluation to permanent* opportunity. The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. *The compensation for this position will be $20.00-$22.00
Job Duties:
- Oversee purchasing, forecasting, and maintaining inventory levels, including putting away stock and organizing the product room.
- Manufacture products as required, including making small or large batches and mixing custom paint, while adhering to quality standards.
- Perform color matches as needed and modify ink formulae to alter the ink's performance characteristics in response to customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, production, and other relevant documentation.
- Support the in-plant manager with daily operations and project initiatives as needed.
- Engage in manual tasks to support plant operations, including loading and unloading materials. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Requirements:
- 1 year certificate from college or vocational school or 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combo of education and experience.
- Previous lab, inplant, warehouse, and customer service skills are helpful.
