About the role The Government Services Territory Sales Manager is responsible for delivering top-tier clinical and surgical support to government accounts, while meeting sales targets within the assigned territory. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of healthcare in the government sector, clinical expertise, proficiency in the operating room, and foundational business acumen. This role will effectively sell, support, and expand access to Cochlear's portfolio of hearing solutions, ensuring the achievement of annual territory sales revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support & Education Leverage clinical expertise to align with territory sales strategies, positioning yourself as a Cochlear expert to professional partners. Understand and apply VA/DoD clinical practice guidelines, access pathways, and contracting requirements to provide appropriate clinical support and establish credibility with key accounts. Develop and implement innovative solutions to increase awareness and demand for cochlear implant and bone conduction products through education and training. Offer comprehensive technical and product support for the Cochlear product portfolio. Provide technical and clinical support through various communication channels, including in-person, on-line, email, and phone. This support may involve advising on device programming and candidacy, resolving medical/surgical inquiries, and troubleshooting devices. Support national level training workshops and coordinate local/on-site education as needed. Business Acumen Allocate appropriate company resources and planning to achieve territory sales success through education of products including technical trainings and product launches for processional. Assist with development of quarterly strategic plans to achieve objectives. Submits territory information in a timely manner each month. Consistently use all sales tools, including Salesforce, Miller Heiman blue, green and purple sheets, and Showpad in the management of the sales territory. Assists with the gathering of account information for the completion of forecasting reports. Manage territory expenses to budget. Surgical Support Competent in surgical support of the Cochlear product portfolio in key/identified accounts. Team Role Follow relevant quality procedure in order to deliver quality products and services. Identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement. Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables. Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules and instructions; and report workplace hazards, incidents or injuries to manager. Key Requirements To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview: * Minimum 2 years hearing healthcare or medical device experience, preferably in the government sector * Bachelor's degree in Hearing Sciences or related degree; Master's Degree/AuD preferred * Prior clinical experience, preferably with cochlear implants, sales and business acumen and/or demonstrated experience and knowledge in cochlear implant surgical settings. * Experience working within or wit To view the full job description,
