About the role

As a Global IT Hardware Support Specialist, you will be responsible for answering and detailing basic help desk calls related to IT support on the account and providing general technical support for software and hardware.

This job is part of the D&T Support job function. They are responsible for providing technical support and solutions to internal users.

What you’ll do

  • Provide end-user support for specific software applications. Assist with simple hardware issues.

  • Build new users and update user security access.

  • Review servers and users to ensure that the systems are operational.

  • Advise management of any general operational problems.

  • Assist with conducting system maintenance on the network.

  • Ensure software literature and data flow documentation is up to date.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Impact the quality of own work.

  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

  • Supervise the technology budget and hardware lifecycle program.

  • Lead international shipping and logistics.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of meaningful experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in documenting processes and procedures.

  • Ability to fix independently to tackle sophisticated and outstanding problems.

  • Experience handling projects and presenting with partners and customers.

  • Interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.

  • Skills with auditing security access in technical systems.

  • Willingness to working occasional non-standard hours to support global teammates.

  • Experience in computer management – including (but not limited to) imaging and customizing for a user.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global IT Hardware Support Specialist position is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Global IT Hardware Support Specialist position is $85,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
