Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the application, infrastructure, and system needs of the Lidar Portal.
  • Works closely with the GIS team, Washington Geological Survey (WGS), Service Desk, Information Technology Coordinators (ITC), IT System and Network Administrators, IT DBAs, Developers, IT Management, and other agency users/stakeholders.

*Required Qualifications: *

  • Bachelor of Science in computer science, information systems, or related field; PLUS 4 years of experience in the following areas: 
    • Experience designing, programming, and deploying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications. 
    • Experience with JavaScript, Python, PostgreSQL, and other development tools. Professional-level working experience using geospatial software and hardware in a web application environment. OR a combination of education and/or experience equivalent.
  • Experience configuring ArcGIS Image Server.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and providing technical support software tools in a large technology environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in all software development life cycle stages.
