Job Description Summary:
Hiring Range from $63,000
Responsible for overseeing repairs, maintenance, and operations for Option Care Health’s licensed pharmacies. Facilities Technical Specialist will proactively deliver solutions to help maximize uptime for the clean rooms across the national Option Care portfolio and thus limit patient care risk. Facilities Technical Specialist will ensure that reactive maintenance issues are addressed with the appropriate urgency and ensuing communication to relevant stakeholders is managed effectively. Facilities Technical Specialist will efficiently manage status reporting to allow for transparent views into facilities related clean room workflow.
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
Coordinates reactive and proactive maintenance and repair visits from various facilities vendors
Utilizes CMMS system to track and provide updates throughout the life of a work order
Finds new service providers for various trades on an as needed basis.
Validates assessments from external vendors for reactive work orders, particularly for mechanical related visits
Works closely with engineering resources to help drive forward mechanical improvements and retrofits
Manages procurement of various clean room fixtures, furniture & equipment.
Reviews and approves Facilities related invoices
Serves as remote critical point of contact for pharmacy team members across the country
Reviews preventative maintenance reports and proactively proceeds with any action items identified
Manages and reviews service contracts
Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical and facility design modifications as appropriate
Participates in forecasting and overseeing the financial resources for clean room related spend activity
Manages clean room remediation projects

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma, 5 years of facility management experience or related positions
Basic Qualifications
Experience managing vendors and overseeing performance
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards of services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Proficient computer skills. Ability to work with Microsoft Windows-based programs, and acceptable data entry skills required
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending process improvements
Ability to evaluate information and make decisions or take actions to problem solve or reach a goal
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with pharmacy branch departments and corporate clinical staff
Strong organization and project management skills
Strong mechanical knowledge. Ability to understand and problem solve issues related to HVAC systems
Physical Demand Requirements
Working in office, warehouse, mechanical and machinery rooms
Working from home office/working remote
Traveling to cities and towns across the US
Ability to use ladder, hand and power tools

- Ability to travel frequently and upon a moment’s notice, local and nationally.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)
CFM and/or other industry certification
Experience with CAFM and/or CMMS
Building construction and mechanical systems technologies knowledge
Knowledge of cleanroom operations, maintenance and engineering requirements; USP regulations
Due to some state pay transparency laws, below is the minimum pay for the position:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
