About the role

The Electrical Technical Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design of Post Facility Ready (FR) medium voltage system upgrades and retrofits, and medium voltage products, throughout the Full Production lifecycle phase. This includes building matrixed design teams from client’s internal design and external design services partners/providers, facilitating the creation of a shared plan for the execution, and oversight of construction administration services provided by the external design team in support of construction activities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of building construction and design, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct planning and kickoff workshops with internal & external stakeholders, facilitating large scale workshops as necessary.

  • Collaborate with external partners to facilitate design reviews.

  • Develop comprehensive scopes of work for contracts, gaining buy-in from internal stakeholders.

  • Administer contracts and track deliverables from various parties.

  • Monitor cost, schedule, progress, and scope, providing regular health reporting.

  • Formulate optimal design teams using internal and external resources.

  • Manage change and maintain project scope and design contracts.

  • Make technical decisions aligned with project requirements.

  • Coordinate design activities with procurement and construction teams.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • Preferred: Master's Degree and Professional Engineer (PE) license.

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Electrical Engineering.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

  • Proficiency in medium voltage electrical systems

  • Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, and related technical areas.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Electrical Technical Program Manager position is $155,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Technical Program Manager position is $185,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
