Providence St. Joseph Health Echocardiograph Technologist - *1 FTE Day* in Olympia, Washington

Description $10,000 Hiring Bonus available for eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence. Performs quality adult cardiac ultrasound including the use of color flow and cardiac Doppler. Performs all echocardiography exams including transthoracic, exercise stress, pharmacological stress echoes, transesophageal echoes, and assists with structural heart procedures for patients. Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) with emphasis and clinical rotation in Adult Echocardiography. National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire. Or, National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year - Post graduate experience in adult echocardiography including stress echocardiography (exercise and pharmacological), transthoracic and transesophageal techniques. New graduates of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program will be considered, with letters of reference from clinical site instructors and interpreting physicians. 1 year - Experience with Definity and Agitated Saline enhanced echocardiography.
