South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) seeks a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Director of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Center (DEIC). The Director of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Center (DEIC) reports directly to the Executive Diversity Officer and is responsible for the planning and coordination of student support services and department activities and events. The Director will work with students to support the DEIC’s mission of offering services, activities, and cultural enrichment opportunities to support and engage under-represented student populations and the campus community. This position works closely with the Executive Diversity Officer to promote and assist with the coordination and implementation of culturally competent student support programs and services in the operation of a comprehensive Diversity Center. The DEIC’s mission is founded on the colleges goal and commitment to equitable access and completion as well as engaging a diverse student body and campus community. These programs and services foster student development that lead to engagement, persistence and completion.
